YUNA system requirements: no GPU needed

YUNA runs on modest Windows hardware. A graphics card is optional.

Minimum

• CPU: Intel Core i5 6th gen or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 / FX-8350
• RAM: 8 GB (16 GB recommended)
• Storage: 2-8 GB free, depending on the model
• GPU: not required
• OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11

Recommended

Core i7 / Ryzen 7, 16 GB RAM and a dedicated CUDA GPU. Larger models such as Llama 3.1 8B and Gemma 2 9B run noticeably faster.

Internet

Needed only on first launch to download the model. After that YUNA works fully offline, with no cloud and no telemetry.

Mac and Linux

Not yet. They are planned, and existing license holders will get access at no extra cost. More answers in the FAQ.
